2.5 Defining post-processings for simulation

In this step we choose the post-processings for the simulation. To choose and set up the post-processings we need to switch to Simulation tab. In the case of our waveguide to coaxial line transition we are interested in S-parameters of the structure, thus we press S button from the Postprocessings section. The S-Parameters dialogue appears.

The frequency range for S-parameters calculations corresponds to the excitation frequency range and the step is chosen to be 0.05 GHz. We choose SK1 at references planes and reciprocal N-port options since the transition is a reciprocal circuit.

Now we can run the simulation.
