4.2     Manual Meshing

The manual meshing is one of two available in QuickWave meshing routines. It allows the user to determine the FDTD cell size, separately in each of three directions. Since the entire scenario area must be divided into integer number of FDTD cells, the software enforces the cell size as close to the one indicated by the user as possible (but never bigger than user’s setting), allowing for obeying this obligation. It is worth noting at this point that each mesh snapping plane divides the scenario area into sub-areas, where the software tries to enforce the required cell size separately for each sub-area.
