6       Processings

In general, the calculations performed in QuickWave are called processings. In the processings group are those calculations, which results are delivered to the user and they can be divided into two sub-groups: co-processings and post-processings. The difference between those two sub-groups is that in case of post-processings (e.g. S-parameters extraction) the decision about activating a particular calculation must be made before launching the simulation (for the purpose of collecting data for Fourier transform) and for co-processings (e.g. fields calculation) such decision is not needed. Each of those two types of processings and the results they deliver is discussed further in the following chapters:
