8.1.2    Export

QuickWave enables geometry export to popular CAD formats:

• QW-Editor:

-                 *.sat – export of the geometry available in QW-Editor to ACIS SAT format is available via SAT Export feature. This feature causes that the shape of the 3D and V2D structures created in QW-Editor is exported in ACIS SAT format. The *.sat file is saved in the project directory with the same name as the QW-Editor project name.

• QW-Modeller: offers the geometry export to popular CAD formats, which are enabled in FreeCAD open source tool, e.g. *.iges, *.step, *dwg, *.dxf, *.brep, etc. For more information please refer to QW-Modeller manuals.

• QW-AddIn for AutodeskÒ InventorÒ Software: offers the geometry export to popular CAD formats, which are enabled in AutodeskÒ InventorÒ Software, e.g. *.sat, *.iges, *.step, etc. For more information please refer to QW-AddIn for AutodeskÒ InventorÒ Software manual.
