6      Coaxial line travelling wave tube

The present example considers a coaxial line travelling wave tube. This example is available in .../QW-V2D/Standard/Coax/TWT1/TWT1.QWPro in the QW-Modeller examples directory and can be loaded using File®Open Examples... command from main menu.

The structure is a coaxial line travelling wave tube.

The radii of inner and outer conductor of the input coaxial line are 0.978 mm and 2.25 mm, respectively. The radii of inner and outer conductor of the output coaxial line is 1.5 mm and 3.5 mm, respectively.

For the purpose of calculating reflection and transmission characteristics, the S-Parameters postprocessing is activated in a frequency range from 1 GHz to 20 GHz, with a frequency step of 0.1 GHz.
