26  Dielectric resonator in waveguide

This example is available in .../QW-3D/Standard/Filters/Dielf/dielf1a.QWPro in the QW-Modeller examples directory and can be loaded using File®Open Examples... command from main menu.

General Description

Dielectric resonator placed in a rectangular waveguide.

Geometry

The waveguide’s height is 10 mm and its total length is 60 mm. The width and length of the following sections are as follows: 20 mm and 20 mm, 20 mm and 12 mm, and 20 mm and 20 mm. The cylindrical resonator made of a medium of permittivity 5 is placed in a section of the guide of smaller width and its diameter is 8 mm.
