1.6      Project preparation ppw7

The model is a parallel plate transmission line excited with a plane wave (red transmission line port) and terminated with a load port (green transmission line port) matched to the line. The transmission line is filled with air and a concrete material slab is placed in the middle.

The project creation process can be divided into several steps:

·        New project

·        Defining the type of the structure and background medium

·        Drawing the structure

·        Drawing the ports

·        Setting boundary conditions

·        Setting up the mesh

·        Exporting the project and running the simulation
