2.6      Project preparation wr340

The model is a rectangular waveguide WR-340 excited with a fundamental TE₁₀ mode (red transmission line port) and terminated with a load port (green transmission line port) matched to the waveguide. The waveguide is filled with air.

The project creation process can be divided into several steps:

·        New project

·        Defining the type of the structure and background medium

·        Drawing the structure

·        Drawing the ports

·        Setting boundary conditions

·        Setting up the mesh

·        Exporting the project and running the simulation
