4.2.1   Union of Shapes

Union operation will glue selected shapes together. The resulting object will have the same medium as the first shape selected.

In the Tree View, select Box object firstly and then (with CTRL) Sphere object. After clicking Boolean ® Union command from Geometry tab, we will obtain a new shape called Fusion with medium metal.

If the Sphere object in selected as a first one from the Tree View, after clicking Boolean  ® Union command from Geometry tab we will obtain a new shape called Fusion with medium air.
