13.11 Undo/Redo

The  button (if active) in the 2D Window toolbar will undo the last operation.

The  button (if active) in the 2D Window toolbar will redo the last undoed operation.

 

Undo / Redo permits to revoke up to N moves in QW-Editor.

Here are some remarks regarding the choice of N:

·       Ncan be set by the user in Preferences dialogue,

·       The default value used in the installation of QW-3D is N=10.

·       Note that each remembered move of QW-Editor must be stored in the operational memory. Thus do not set high values of N when QW-Editor and other applications are executed in parallel, close to the memory limits of your computer.

·       The undo record registers substantial changes in geometry in QW-Editor such as:

o   Adding a new electric plane.

o   Editing mesh.

o   Drawing operations.

o   Deleting Wire.

o   Adding a new I/O Port.

o   Editing I/O Port parameters.

o   Adding a new Special Plane.

o   Splitting Wire.

o   Deleting Element.

o   Deleting Port.

o   Deleting Object.

o   Modifying Object.

o   Editing Object.

o   Moving Special Plane.

o   Editing Element.

o   Editing Port.

o   Exporting options.

o   UDO creation.

o   SAT filtering.

o   DXF conversion.

o   Gluing operation.

o   Cutting operation.

o   Intersecting operation.
