The  button in Structure tab or with Export->Save Volume Media Eff. Par. … command from main menu or context menu invoke Export Settings dialogue for choosing effective medium parameter and define a sub-volume of the computational domain for which the parameter’s values will be exported to *.mf3 file.

The effective medium parameter can be chosen from Parameters list.

As default, the whole domain is chosen, but any cuboidal subregion may be selected and sub-volume of the computational domain can be set in X, Y and Z directions.

The Options button invokes Save to *.mf3 File Options dialogue for setting options for saving the effective media parameters to *.mf3 file.
