12.12                       Clipping Plane

A clipping plane is a plane that divides the object space into two parts of space. All object elements in one part are visible; elements in the other part of space are invisible. The objects look like sliced and interior details become visible. We may say that the clipping plane option enables viewing the cross section of the object along chosen axes.

The clipping plane can be activated using  command from the Tools section menu in Geometry tab or using View®Clipping Plane command from main menu. Clipping can be activated on X, Y and Z plane and also in custom direction.
