4.1.10 Shape Builder
The 
command from Primitives section in Geometry tab and Geometry->Primitives->Shape builder... command from main menu invoke Create shape in the Task panel for creation of more complex shapes from various parametric geometric primitives.
It allows:
creating an edge from two selected vertices,
creating face from selected vertices,
creating face from selected closed set of edges,
creating shell from selected adjacent faces,
creating solid from selected shell shape.
