4.2.2      Cut of Two Shapes

Cut operation will subtract the second shape from the first one. The resulting object will have the same medium as the first shape selected.

In the Tree View select Box object firstly and then (with CTRL) Sphere object. After clicking Boolean  ® Cut command from Geometry tab we will obtain a new shape called Cut with medium metal.

If the Sphere object in selected as a first one from the Tree View, after clicking Boolean  ® Cut command from Geometry tab we will obtain a new shape called Cut with medium air.
