2006 IEEE MTT-S - San Francisco, California, USA

QWED participated in the IEEE MTT-S IMS conference and exhibited the QuickWave software in booth #344. Collaboration with Vector Fields and Acceleware (www.acceleware.com) was highlighted. Both multithread and hardware-accelerated versions of QuickWave attracted great attention. Moreover, QWED resonators for precise material measurements were demonstrated at the booth of Agilent Technologies. We wish to thank all our users, prospects and friends for visiting QWED booth, and shall look forward to seeing you in Hawaii next year!

During the Awards Banquet, QWED president prof. Wojciech Gwarek received a prestigious plaque "In Recognition of Distinguished Service as MTT-S Distinguished Microwave Lecturer" for his lecture entitled "Microwave passive circuit design without hardware prototyping - how close it comes with state-of-art electromagnetic simulation".

Shelley Begley and Stoyan Ganchev of Agilent Technologies present QWED's resonators for material measurements as an equipment supplementing Agilent's Network Analysers.

Throughout 2003-2005, this lecture was given by him in 14 research and industrial centres.
