7.6.2 Suppress density and SAR
QuickWaveallows for calculation of specific absorption rate (SAR). SAR is calculated for media declared to have density>0, what enforces construction of density matrices in QW‑Simulator, connected with additional memory allocation. QuickWave delivers advanced suppress option in this manner, called Suppress density/SAR. Suppress density/SAR means that density and SAR matrices will not be allocated in QW-Simulator. This option is used when we have a circuit prepared for SAR analysis, with non-zero value of density assigned to some media, but we want to run preliminary analysis without calculating SAR and thus, without constructing density matrices in QW-Simulator. It is also a fast way of reducing memory requirements in preliminary simulations of the problems prepared for further thermal simulations.
