3.16 Dispersive Media Chart

The Dispersive Media Chart can be invoked from Edit Medium dialogue by pressing Chart... button.

The Dispersive Media Chart display the dispersive characteristics for the chosen material and for specified frequency range. The window shows the frequency dependence of the real and imaginary part of electric and/or magnetic parameters of the model for selected medium.

The Dispersive Media Chart is available for Dielectric dispersive, Metamaterial and Cold Plasma materials.

Pressing the right mouse button invokes the context menu. The following commands are available:

Save Results… - save current dispersive characteristics to the *.da3 results file (it can be opened with QW-Simulator)

Save Picture… - save current display to the *.png or *.bmp file

Change Frequency Range… - open Change Frequency dialogue that allows changing the frequency range and step for dispersive characteristics.
