1.5.9    Tools

Tools menu provides access to external applications or format converters. There are several predefined tools, and more can be defined via Set Tools dialogue.

 - by default, a standard calculator available in the Windows system (see Set Tools chapter for more information)

 - by default, a standard text editor (Notepad) available in the Windows system (see Set Tools chapter for more information)

 - the QW-Simulator; when invoked from here it will be started without any reference to the QW-Editor. In particular the Export operation on the current project will not be performed.

 - the multiprocessor/multicore OMP version of QW-Simulator; when invoked from here it will be started without any reference to the QW-Editor. In particular the Export operation on the current project will not be performed.

 - the GPU accelerated version of QW-Simulator; when invoked from here it will be started without any reference to the QW-Editor. In particular the Export operation on the current project will not be performed.

 - the GPU accelerated version of QW-Simulator designated for multiple GPU cards; when invoked from here it will be started without any reference to the QW-Editor. In particular the Export operation on the current project will not be performed.

 - the viewer for SAT files

 - the SAT Filter – invoked during importing geometry from SAT file

 - the DXF Converter – invoked during importing geometry from DXF file

 - the UDO Editor

 - the QuickWave Licence Manager

 - a group of user defined tools in Set Tools dialogue

 - opens Set Tools dialogue for modifying access to external applications or format converters and create user tools
