3.7     Radiation Patterns

The Radiation Patterns dialogue can be invoked using Antenna Settings… button in the Add Objective or Edit Objective dialogue for Radiation Pattern objective.

The Radiation Patterns dialogue allows setting parameters for 2D radiation pattern calculation for the Radiation Pattern objective.

The NTF frequencies field contains all frequencies defined in the Near To Far post-processing for the project in QW-Editor and allowing the choice of one of them for the particular Objective. The default choice is First and the first NTF frequency will be taken for objective during optimisation or parameters sweep. This particular value will be taken for the consecutive steps of optimisation or parameters sweep routines. If the user puts First Only keyword, in the consecutive steps of optimisation or parameters sweep routines, the radiation pattern will be calculated for the actual first frequency from the frequencies list. This enables changing the frequency value in consecutive optimisation or parameters sweep steps.
