4.12 Brief description of the Field 3D Post Processing

The goal of the “Field 3D Post Processing” (F3Dpost) is to subtract, add, divide calculated component from two files sources or to multiply field component values by selected constant value . Input data files should be saved in QuickWave volume format vi3 or ve3. New calculated data will be saved to new files vi3 or ve3 respectively.

The main assumption is – mesh of both two files (vi3/ve3) should be the same and the saved component (e.g. Ex…, Hz…, T etc.) in both files should be the same.

To use new “Field 3D Post Processing” User should be familiar with exporting fields value to files in vi3 (volume instantaneous) and ve3 (volume envelope SHIFT-E) file format. This is standard operation User can find in the other parts of the help/manual. To familiarize with this however we wrote brief description below with Field 3D Post Processing context.
