6.5.7   Patch Antenna Array

The  button in Antenna Array tab invokes Patch Antenna Array dialogue for managing excitation and beam steering parameters for patch antenna array.

Patch antenna array parameters are present only for the patch antenna array project prepared with Patch Antenna Array module in QW-Modeller for QuickWave.

The Amplitude and Delay tables contain excitation amplitude and delay parameters for excitation points. The size of tables correspond to size of the patch array.

The Patch Type contains information of patch shape – it could be Rectangular, Circular or Geometry.

If the beam steering is not defined for the project, the Beam Steering frame contains information about the angles of direction of the beam at defined frequency.

The Edit frame allows setting new excitation amplitude or delay for selected items in the table – not available in this version of QuickWave.

The Load… button allows loading the parameters of patch antenna array from the *.ar3 file, previously exported in QW-Modeller for QuickWave

The Save… button allows saving the parameters of patch antenna array to the *.ar3 file – not available in this version of QuickWave.
