1.4.2    Edit Menu

 - deletes selected object(s)

 - opens Placement dialogue in the Task Panel. See Placement Settings chapter for more information.

 - opens Alignment mode for positioning and orientating two selected shapes. See Alignment chapter for more information.

 - allows entering or leaving the edit mode of a selected object. See Edit Mode chapter for more information.

 - opens Preferences dialogue. See Preferences chapter for more information.
