1      General Information

QW-OptimiserPlus is a min-max multiobjective optimiser fully integrated with QW-Simulator and matches efficiency and reliability with very user-friendly interface. The optimisation library has been designed and implemented by Prof. L. J. Opalski.

QW-OptimiserPlus solves the min-max optimisation problem:

and the objective function is calculated as follows:

Configuring optimiser consists of the following steps:

During optimisation or parameters sweep, the basic information about the process is displayed in the Optimiser Info tab of the Simulator Log window.

The optimiser cache accumulates the results of optimisation for consecutive values of the optimised variables.

It is possible to set up a batch job for making several consecutive runs of optimisation or parameters sweep routines.

QW-OptimiserPlus is not compatible with QW-BHM, as their operating regimes are with different excitation signals (pulse and sinusoidal, respectively).

QW-OptimiserPlus can be configured and started using commands from Optimiser tab of QW-Simulator Ribbon or from Optimiser menu of QW-Simulator main menu.

See QW-Simulator: Optimiser chapter for commands description.
