4      2D/3D Fields Distribution

The 2D/3D Fields Distribution window allows dynamic monitoring of field distributions during time-domain simulations with any kind of excitation. For such monitoring no special arrangements are needed before launching the simulation. The user can decide at any time of the simulation: which fields are of interest, what kind of displays he prefers, and how many windows he wants to open.

The 2D/3D Fields Distribution window is also used for viewing 2D/3D fields loaded from file.

2D/3D Fields Distribution window can be invoked from 2D/3D Fields tab of QW-Simulator Ribbon.

2D/3D Fields Distribution window can be also invoked using 2D/3D Fields or Saved 2D/3D Fields commands from Fields menu of QW-Simulator main menu.

Pressing Ctrl button before opening 2D/3D Fields Distribution window brings up a dialogue, which either allows setting Volume Limit dialogue for limiting the display region or Sparse Mode dialogue for the Thermal Discrete display for setting space sparsity factor.
