7.5 Export/Import
The results calculated in Power, Energy & Q-factor window can be exported (saved) to file using Save command from main menu or context menu.
The values of power dissipated, energy stored and Q-factors are saved in the *.pq3 file.

The format of the *.pq3 contains:
a header with basic simulation information,
a header matrix of calculated power and energy quantities (PdE – power dissipated in electric field, PdM – power dissipated in magnetic field, EnE - energy stored in electric field, EnM – energy stored in magnetic field; min, max, Avr denote time-minima, time-maxima, and time-averages),
· a matrix of values of the above quantities,
a header matrix of calculated Q-factors (where each QF_ab = 2*π*f *AVR Reference Energy / AVR Reference Pdiss, symbol a denotes type of energy taken as reference – E electric, M magnetic, T total, symbol b denotes type of dissipated power taken as reference – E electric, M magnetic, T total),
a matrix of values of the above Q-factors (note: saved value of -1 indicates that the calculated Q-factor is +INF, that is, reference dissipated power of the corresponding type is 0).
Previously saved power, energy and Q-factor results can be loaded from *.pq3 file and viewed in a text form using Saved Power, Energy & Q Results command from Power, Energy, Q & Temperature label button with commands from Results tab of QW-Simulator Ribbon or using Saved Power, Energy & Q Results command from Results menu of QW-Simulator main menu.
