2.18.13            Results Options

The  button in Additional tab and Preferences… command from main menu or context menu invoke Results Options dialogue for setting display options.

There are two main tabs General, which is used for main settings of display charts and Advanced tab used for advanced settings.

The main General tab contains View and Text tab.

The following groups of settings are available in the View tab:

·         Outside Chart is used to describe colour and different fills by changing the colour and hatch pattern (i.e. DownHatch, UpHatch, CrossHatch, DiagCrossHatch etc. and also a gradient with Effect value) for the area outside the chart.

·         Inside Chart is used to describe the same attributes as in Outside Chart, but for the area inside chart.

·         Grid Lines is used to describe horizontal and vertical grid lines attributes, such as colour, style and width.

The Text tab contains settings which are used to describe text colour displayed in the display charts. Also, the Legend can be shown or hidden and border and background colour can be set.

In Chart Type section there are three radio buttons: XY, Polar and Smith. The user can choose the coordinates, for which he wants to make changes.

The Edit Line… button opens Edit Line dialogue for modifying the line and cursor attributes of the curve.

The Default button reset all settings to the defaults values.

Local *.en8 file and Global qwsim.ini file are used to set what kind of settings should be applied when Results window will be opened.

The Save… and Load… buttons allow to save or load all settings from Results Layout *.lr3 file.

The main Advanced tab contains settings for number of decimal places for domain and results values displayed in the display charts. The -1 value means that domain and results values will be displayed with default precision.
