2.8.5   Extended Results

The  button in Results tab of QW-Simulator Ribbon invokes Results window with S-Parameters results extended with: phases of propagation constants and complex transmission line impedances results.

The  button in Results tab and Switch->Extended Results command from main menu or context menu switch the display to extended S-parameters results.

Extended S-parameters results contain additional information about the phase angle of the propagation constant and about the changes in the characteristic impedances of the port lines (which are also reference impedances for the calculated S-matrix)

Extended S-parameters results contain six curves per each port. For Port 1 we obtain |S11|, <S11, |Gam1|, <Gam1, |Z1| and <Z1 results. For Port N we obtain |SN1|, <SN1, |GamN|, <GamN, |ZN| and <ZN results.

The Values pane contains information about visible curves such as name, domain, and value under active cursor and other parameters in separated columns, which can be chosen in Select Column dialogue.
