2.8.6   Gamma at Reference planes results

Gamma K at ref. planes option of S-Parameters post-processing allows computing reflection coefficients G at several reference planes simultaneously during a single simulation run. It can be applicable when a multi-source network is considered with all the ports operating as sources simultaneously and, consequently, the scattering matrix cannot be computed.

If there is more than one port, button_gammak button will open S-Parameters Postprocessings dialogue for choosing Gamma at Reference planes results to be shown.

Gamma at Reference planes results contain three curves per each port: |GAMMAN|, <GAMMAN and |GamN|.

The button_gammak button in Results tab and Switch->Gamma K at ref. planes command from main menu or context menu show Gamma at Reference planes results from all Gamma at Reference planes post-processings. It is worth noting that when saving the results, only the results of active post-processing (assigned to Tasker group) will be saved. To save Gamma at Reference planes results for other ports it is required to open the remaining post-processings results in separate Results windows.

The Values pane contains information about visible curves such as name, domain, and value under active cursor and other parameters in separated columns, which can be chosen in Select Column dialogue.
