Dr. Maciej Sypniewski
Maciej Sypniewski received M.Sc. (1983) and Ph.D. (1996) degrees at the Institute of Radioelectronics, Warsaw University of Technology, where he has been working since 1983 and is at present Assistant Professor. He is author and co-author of two patents and some 35 scientific publications, including contributions to international papers like IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation and Electronics Letters. As an academic lecturer and M.Sc. supervisor he teaches operational systems, computer science, computer programming, electromagnetic field theory, and microwave techniques. Being an expert on measurement systems, he has produced microwave switched reflectometers as a part of his Ph.D., the quartz generator system, and subtitling instruments for the TV in Poland. He currently has worked on computerised measurement systems, data acquisition, and CAD. Maciej Sypniewski is co-author of QuickWave software and co-founder of QWED. His special contributions and responsibilities include the programming aspects of QW-Simulator and multithreaded versions of the software.
