2.9    2D Radiation Pattern

If the current post-processing is NTF post-processing, the results_results2 button in Results tab of QW-Simulator invokes Radiation Patterns dialogue for setting 2D radiation pattern parameters and then Results window with 2D radiation pattern results of this current NTF post-processing is opened. The current post-processing can be changed with button_nextppos button in Run tab of QW-Simulator and Run->Next Postprocessing command from QW-Simulator main menu. The name of the current post-processing is displayed in the status bar of the Results window.

The results_cartesian2d button in Results tab of QW-Simulator Ribbon invokes Radiation Patterns dialogue for setting 2D radiation pattern parameters and then Results window with 2D radiation pattern results in XY orthogonal coordinates is opened.

The results_porar2d button in Results tab of QW-Simulator Ribbon invokes Radiation Patterns dialogue for setting 2D radiation pattern parameters and then Results window with 2D radiation pattern results in Polar coordinates is opened.

The Results->2D Radiation Pattern command from QW-Simulator main menu invokes Radiation Patterns dialogue for setting 2D radiation pattern parameters and then Results window with 2D radiation pattern results is opened with display settings taken from the environment history for the first not used Results window.

The 2D radiation pattern can be scaled with the following Gain References: directive gain, power gain, absolute_1port gain, absolute gain, Fields at 1m gain and RCS, as described in Antenna Gain.

The following 2D radiation pattern results can be observed:
